Stories of meeting the Messenger
Years ago I went to see/meet a Jain Master and after leaving this event I said that I thought I should have felt something - some connection - but there was nothing. Whatever I thought should be there was not present.
Many years later, in October of 2009, I sat in the Sanctuary of The New Message from God in Boulder, Co to meet and hear Marshall Vian Summers speak for the first time. As I sat in the room listening to Marshall, the experience that was lacking during my meeting with the Jain Master, was profoundly present with Marshall. It was powerful, palpable and almost overwhelming.
I didn't really understand what I was experiencing at the time, but I knew whatever I was experiencing was deep and real and that this vast Teaching was meant for me. Now, in September of 2011, I understand that my response to Marshall was pure and authentic recognition. I recognize Marshall as the Messenger for our time. It is a gift and an honor to know him.
