"When people say,'I know the truth here,' and they argue with others, they are arguing over interpretations and approaches. That is because the same truth appears to be different things at different stages of development. It has different value and application in these different stages. When someone at one stage argues with someone at another stage, they may not understand one another because their experiences are determined by their stages of development as well as their own personal preferences, fears and psychological make-up."[1]
