The New Message from God, a new religious movement from the United States of America, originated with the teachings and pronouncements of Marshall Vian Summers. Adherents to The New Message from God regard the work and person of Marshall Vian Summers on the order of the Buddha, Jesus, and Muhammad, but with the difference that the revelation purported to have been received by Summers is recorded on tape and then transcribed as never before. Key components of the revelation, mostly attributed to a divine source, include teachings in The Way of Knowledge, warnings about an extraterrestrial incursion upon Earth called the Intervention and pronouncements about the future involving global upheaval and interaction between the human race and off-planet races from the sector called the Greater Community.
