A group-sourced index to Steps to Knowledge

See example how to build your own Steps index using WordPress. Note

the use of Categories that allow the major corridors of the New Message to be broken down into sub-categories (As WordPress allows for "parent categories," you can further categorize)
and the tags that will collect Steps together under good topics for wiki pages.

A calling to all students : Make Your Own Wiki

And let it begin with Steps to Knowledge, off the wiki platform, on WordPress (or Naver, wherever you can archive your Step journal post) or on notecards.

Step 166: My mission is great. Therefore, I am free to do small things.'

The best shared platform for all who would put their minds to it, is WordPress, where you can set up a Steps Journal that does not go public until ready! You can benefit from sharing some of your experiences with Steps and everyone will benefit when we cross-link among our blogs dedicated to Steps.

And the wiki will get a Steps index that we know is good and reliable, and most hopefully, our wiki training becomes a practice that is led by the Revelation and not our own impatience.

How to Proceed

First, do what the Messenger does: make your own wiki, and make it a practice as you proceed through Steps to Knowledge. to post each Step online where you can tag, categorize and comment on your post (set to "private" until prepared as a personal blog post of your own insight); and we will have a Steps index in no time!
I feel comfortable with making it my own--that's why the privacy setting--and I
  • do rearrange the paragraphs in the Step. I do this for my own use of the Step, to better see what is being asked. Again, the post is not ready for the public until half of the writing is in my own words.
  • copy the instructions for the hourly and for the longer practices
  • use Categories for the major corridors and break those down into further aspects
  • use tags for key words, as many tags as you see
  • post each Step in order to keep them consecutive.
  • As often as that Step comes to mind, do jot down your insights or NM quotes as comments.
  • Set the visibility to "private" for now. Someday you can post a related blog that includes your own thoughts.
Be patient, and
do not share with the public either
a good and exact copy of the Step or
a rearranged version.

Step 109: I will not be in a hurry today.
Casual edits--quotes with the name and date of the revelation-- are just fine! Put them right there on the page or make a new page if needed.
OR send great quotes to the Wiki editors on the Worldwide Community site.
OR add your quote with name and date of the revelation where you found it under the Discussion tab at the top of every page, if you would like another editor to follow up
Formal edits take practice. The formatting comes easily with repetition. There are simple ways to get enough practice to gain confidence.
Focus on one skill at a time, like cross-references or images or references.
