I really want to be able to paraphrase for brevity, and then cite long quotes at the bottom of the page. However, I don't know the best way to do this, especially since footnote numbering will all get messed up when you add new ones out of order. Any ideas? I'm tempted by the [http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Cite/Cite.php cite extension] but it'll take some work.

I really want to be able to paraphrase for brevity, and then cite long quotes at the bottom of the page.
