"The condition of the world reflects the impact of the forces that further human evolution and those forces that oppose it."[1]

Directives

"Do not ever think that this world is owned by anyone else, that any other race in the universe has rights to this world or has any special privilege for visiting this world or can make any claims of ownership to this world or any claims of authorship for human evolution."[2]

Advancement in human evolution

"The world is forcing an advancement in human evolution."[3]

"It is a remarkable aspect of human evolution that grave circumstances are created to promote advancement. This is, in fact, a common feature of the physical universe."[4]

"Humanity has always been advanced by a relatively small number of dedicated people. This represents development and progress in every aspect of human life. For these advancements to take place, a sufficient number of people had to be pioneers, and others had to substantiate what was pioneered."[5]

"The human race is at a terminal point, the terminal end of the cycle of the development of international societies. This is where tribes and groups have grown so great, have overlapped so much and are having such an impact upon the environment that they must learn new ways of cooperation. They must join forces. They must grow into a new stage of development, which is represented by a one-world community. It is this stage upon which humanity is now embarking. Regardless of the strife and difficulty that still exist between tribes, cultures, groups and nations, this is the direction of human evolution. This is the course it must follow, for better or for worse."[6]

"The Harim recognize that nations and entire populations of any world cannot be elevated all at once. Only certain individuals can be prepared to contribute to their race in order to elevate it, strengthen it and so forth. Through their efforts and demonstrations, their own society and population at large can slowly advance. Therefore, the work is done through individuals here and there. It is not done through governments. It is not done through organized religions. It is not done through large groups. It is not done through social groups, political groups or economic groups. Instead, it is done through individuals who are prepared to assume a greater understanding and ability. Their contribution will far exceed what they could have accomplished without this preparation. What greater service can you perform for your world than to prepare it for the future in order to guarantee its future well-being and advancement? Remember, you work for the present and for the future. Human beings do not yet understand this, but this is known to be true in the Greater Community."[7]

"It is as if the entire human family is sort of in early middle school in the evolution of life. You are all sort of in the fifth grade. You are struggling to learn, and you are making lots of mistakes, and tragedy is occurring everywhere, and deprivation is occurring everywhere.

But as a whole, you have not advanced very far, given what God has really created in you and the potential for humanity in the future."[8]

Human evolution in the Greater Community

"Humanity has not been able to advance itself very effectively because it has lacked the presence of a greater and more advanced intelligence."[5]
