How to format category footer

PROBLEM I format the category footer but it doesn't show up in preview.

That is correct; it will appear after saving.

PROBLEM The category text is red, not blue.

The page for that category must be created. Click on the red category text and open up for editing. Just a note that says, "This category includes pages on ...."

no need to add your username

How to add a note for editors' eyes only to an entry

use "less than" character, exclamation point, hyphen, hyphen--your comment-- followed by hyphen, hyphen, "greater than" character. Example below only visible in edit mode.
