"Why complain that the world is changing when this gives you your only true hope of advancement?"[1]

"The very burden that the personal mind complains about is the very thing that gives you meaning in life."[2]

Directives

"Minimize your complaints about life because complaints disable you from resolving things that are within your grasp to resolve."[3]

"Therefore, do not be in complaint. Do not deny or condemn the circumstances of the world when, in fact, they hold the greatest possibility for your redemption and for your fulfillment here."[4]

"You cannot afford to be a critic of the world now. Instead of condemning others, condemning the governments, condemning the world, condemning life, you must draw your resources to you. All of that condemnation represents a huge loss of energy, a loss of energy that only adds more friction and complaint to life, without any positive benefit. If your life is not moving with Knowledge, then your position as a critic is pointless and self-defeating. This is part of the conservation of your energy."[5]

"Take all of the energy that you might use currently in complaining about the world, complaining about other people, complaining about your government or complaining about life, and bring that focus and energy to bear in preparing for the Great Waves of change, in building a network of support with other people and in educating your local community."[6]

One of three possible responses to a problem

"Actually, there are only three possible responses you can have to a problem, big or small. You can avoid it, and there are many avenues for doing that, for human beings are very clever at avoidance. You can complain about it, which means you cannot avoid it, but you are not yet committed to resolving it either, so you complain about it. Or, you can solve it. In the first two, there is a great deal of response to a little problem. There is a great deal of effort extended in avoiding problems and in complaining about them."[3]
