Experience

"It is not difficult to have direct experience. You simply must not be doing anything else." [1]

Of Calling

"Within your restlessness and your discontent, you are responding to this calling. Within your anxiety and your vain attempt to bring happiness into your life, you will feel this calling. It is not a calling that you will experience in your thoughts as much as in your heart and throughout your being. You will feel that you need to be somewhere, to do something, to meet someone." [2]

Of the Mental Environment

"The mental environment is what you create for yourself" ... "something you have to be responsible for because unless a foreign intelligence is in your midst, almost everything that you experience in the mental environment will come from other human beings. Plants and animals do not have a strong influence on the mental environment. In nature, as you may have noticed, there can be neutrality in the mental environment. That is why people seek refuge in nature--it is refreshingly open and free of dominating influences." [3]

Of Separation

"How else can you be separate in the universe except in your own thoughts? You cannot actually be separate from God. You cannot actually be separate from Knowledge. You can only hide in your own thoughts and weave them together to create a separate identity and experience for yourself which, though quite demonstrative, are in fact completely an illusion." [4]

Of God & Knowledge

"Anyone who has the experience of the Presence of God, or the movement of Knowledge within themselves, will know what is sacred." [5]
