"It is easier to criticize than it is to create."[1]

"When you become a critic of humanity, you lose your own meaning and worth. Humanity is what it is. To call it good or bad is meaningless. It is where it is."[2]

Directives

"You cannot afford to be a critic of the world now."[3]

"Recognize that you were sent into the world to be a contributor, not a judge or a critic."[4]

"Have the courage to face yourself—your mind, your emotions, your self-criticism, your self-doubt, even the criticism and doubt of others, all the things that keep you in bondage at this moment."[5]

"You cannot allow yourself to capitulate to your own pathetic feelings or to the criticism of others. You have to be more powerful than those things that dissuade you within yourself and those people who might dissuade you on the outside."[6]

"Discern the voice and the movement of Knowledge from all the other voices in your mind—the voice of your parents, the voice of your teachers, the voice of your culture, the voice of your friends, the voice of your fear, the voice of your desire, the voice of your self-doubt, the voice of your self-criticism."[7]

Critics of the New Message

"People will think God’s New Message is irrelevant. It is impossible. It will seem to not meet their daily concerns. They will not see that it is here to save humanity itself. They will not see what it really is. So it will be neglected and avoided, criticized and ridiculed."[8]

"Let the critics be critics, for they are ignorant and cannot respond."[8]

"They will not even pay attention to the New Message from God. They will just be concerned with the Messenger, wanting to criticize or repudiate the Messenger."[9]
