Discussion pages
I am using Discussion pages as holding places for undecided content, such as outlines or unattributed/unverified quotations. For example Talk:The Messenger, where I'm jotting down the references cited during the Messenger's Vigil so we can review this most important page for completeness and correct emphasis. I'm using my own discussion page (User talk:Mary s) to hold notes and suggestions from others. --Mary s 08:42, 3 March 2014 (PST)

Main Page The corridors need to link to categories, right? Following example of category:God ? Categories are listed on help page (search box only brings up 9 of 11). Alternatively, my preference actually, a "see also" link at the bottom of the corridor's main entrance, the page of that title.

I wonder if a series could be added with the words "Quotes About" to break down topics covered by the New Message --Mary s (talk) 16:36, 20 April 2020 (UTC)
:::A "see also" is redundant; clicking on the category itself opens the category page. --Mary s 19:25, 23 November 2011 (PST)

::::Better if the corridor links go to pages instead of categories. I'll change that. I don't think "See also" is redundant, since it's tailored page by page to take people to closely related pages that may not be in the same category.-WillWikiAdmin 18:35, 7 December 2011 (PST)

Paragraphs that do not have citations raise question ("do I need to check this citation?") and could also be separated from the subsequent paragraph with the citation (ref), causing even more questions. So, forget about the dainty way of using quotation marks to show continuity, and make sure the source for each paragraph is clearly marked. --Mary s 20:50, 11 November 2013 (PST)

When copying from other sources and pasting onto wiki, a couple things (so far) to watch: 1) two hyphens does not equal an mdash in wikiscript. You will need to replace them with code: ampersand, mdash, semicolon — find it on chart at help page for formatting). 2) In passages with quotation marks, change them to apostrophes. --Mary s 12:40, 17 November 2011 (PST)

:I feel that two hyphens will do in a pinch. It can be later cleaned up with a search, right? It needs to remain easy for people to pop the wiki open, drop in an excellent quote, and leave, without worrying about syntax. And yes, a real mdash will look better and be easier to read.WikiAdmin 18:34, 23 November 2011 (PST)

:::I was wrong about using two hyphens; they do seem to join now (in an ndash, i guess, but ok, ok).

Capitalization in Page Titles
Longer quotes
Page titles are cap sensitive, except for the initial letter in the title. For convenient internal linking, I prefer to only use caps in the first letter of the page title and any word that is commonly capitalized in the New Message ("Great Waves of change"). This does not apply to the "Quotes About _____" pages, which are all redirects. --Mary s 20:50, 11 November 2013 (PST)
