"The work of God is everywhere, but who can see it?" [1]
"To understand God’s work in the world, you must understand God’s work in the entire universe." [1]
Understanding the Work of God
"Your theology of God must be the theology of God’s work in this world. And if it is true, accurate and beneficial, it must focus on the experience of Knowledge. Knowledge is the beginning of religion. Knowledge is the completion of religion. Knowledge is the evidence of God and the evidence that you are a part of a greater life beyond the limits of your time, beyond the boundaries of your race and beyond the confines of your present intellectual ability."
"The essence of God’s work is beyond human contamination and beyond the contamination of any race anywhere in the Greater Community. Understand this and you will be able to have a different approach to your relationship with the Divine and to the Divine presence and activity in the world." [2]
"You need a larger perspective to comprehend the work of God. God is not human. God does not think like a human. God is not made in your image. God has no image. The Source of all life accounts for all life.Think not that God is preoccupied with your life to the exclusion of other life." [3]
"The Creator is at work in all places and in all dimensions, reclaiming the separated through Knowledge. God’s work goes on behind the scenes although it is active and quite apparent if you can perceive it. It does not make a show of itself, and, therefore, it receives a minimum of resistance and contamination from the worlds and the cultures that it serves." [4]
Human Responsibility and the Work of God
"The tragedies that you see around you and throughout the world do not represent the work of God. The world is a dangerous place. It has many risks. Anything can happen here. You need to be aware. God would teach you to be aware. God would teach you to have vision. God would teach you how to protect your mind and your body, how to develop your skills and how to use them effectively and constructively. This is God’s work in the world. Without this relationship, you would be on your own, and you would suffer for this. However, there is greater assistance and assurance available to you. It is not a false assistance and it is not a false assurance. It is real. And it will work through you and for you if you welcome it and are open to it, if you are sincere and if you do not try to use it for your own personal goals or advantages."[2]
"People’s expectations of a spiritual life are so out of keeping with the reality of a spiritual life that for many this keeps them from even beginning the preparation. They would rather be content in their happy assumptions than to find out the truth about the situation. They do not want to think that the world isn’t so pretty, for this means they will have to do something. They will have to respond. They would rather have happier thoughts and think, 'Well, God is taking care of everything. I give it all to the Holy Spirit.' In reality, God is looking at you and saying, 'You are supposed to take care of matters down there,' and the Holy Spirit knows this and is here to empower you to do it. Why do people not understand God’s work and presence in the world? The great difference in God’s approach and people’s expectations account for part of it." [5]
"While many people are expecting or demanding God to come forth for them and to give them what they desire, you can begin to see behind the scenes the real work of God—the work of God that restores people’s relationship with themselves and with each other. All the great things that have been given to humanity are the result of relationships that are meaningful and purposeful where devotion has been experienced and expressed." [2]
"Advancement for humanity, in whatever field you might consider, has been the result of the efforts of a relatively small number of people who were committed, who were devoted and who had great allies. This is the evidence of God’s work in the world. In spite of all of the calamities and all of the tragedies, all of the addictions and all of the difficulties that prey and prevail upon humanity and human relationships, the work of God carries humanity forward. If God were not in the world, humanity would simply destroy itself." [2]
